"The inspiration for 'Prelude' came after we said goodbye to our 16-year-old cat, finding comfort in the thought of him moving on to his next form and emerging like a stunning butterfly.

I wanted this piece to capture that quiet pause right before a new chapter begins. I love the butterfly as a symbol of deep change and evolution - how a caterpillar has to completely let go of what it was to become something entirely new.

My hope is that this painting brings a comforting presence into your space and serves as a reminder that every ending is simply a catalyst for a beautiful new beginning."
